The Blaine Brothers Kickstarter their feature film debut
Want a different kind of Monday? Kickstart the week by pledging your support for Nina Forever, a darkly comic tale by the Blaine Brothers, and their debut feature film to boot.
FP’s Harriet Fleuriot has been working with them on the Kickstarter campaign so you know it’s got to be good. As I write this (witching hour, Sunday, May 5), the countdown has begun to the your last chance to get involved – 7.01 EDT on Wednesday, May 8 to be precise, and, coincidentally, Harriet’s birthday: happy birthday sis! – and with 48 hours to go, the Blaines have notched up 210 backers but still need to raise £5940 to release the funds. You can pledge your support with as little as £1, and there are rewards for larger pledges, with a smorgasbord of thank you goodies, from film stills or a DVD (£24), to a chance to meet the Blaines or receive a ‘wardrobe detox’ from the film’s costume designer, stylist Imogen Loveday-Brown. (If you want to get a feel for just how she might refresh your clobber, Imogen currently features on the Nina Forever blog on Shooting People.)
The Nina Forever Kickstarter campaign closes 7.01 EDT, Wednesday, May 8 – don’t miss your movie mogul moment!
