All aboard! Why The Great Diversity Experiment matters
January 12th, 2016
Why sell a collection from a run-of-the-mill pop-up shop when you can tout your wares from a psychedelic ice-cream van instead? Given his indefatigable spirit, it should come as no surprise that come Thursday, August 1, Henry Holland’ll be doing just that, parking up kerbside in Covent Garden for two days – then Carnaby, Seven Dials, Spitalfields and Manchester, before he’s back in town for LFW – to sell an exclusive 17-piece House of Holland collection. Girls and boys, meet Mr Quiffy.
As might be expected, it’s a selection of vibrantly printed, oh-so snackable pieces which bridge the gap between summer and new season drops. Kind of like the best kind of screwball.
